PRIDE, Inc. is a non-profit organization providing vocational, residential, and social programs for individuals with intellectual, developmental, and cognitive disabilities in Southeast Massachusetts.
P.R.I.D.E. Inc is an acronym and it stands for Preparatory Rehabilitation for Individual Development & Employment, Inc.
We serve individuals of all abilities, including adults with developmental disabilities, acquired brain injuries, mental health needs, and other challenges who seek support for independence and community engagement. Programs are fee-for service structured, or private pay. Members must have the appropriate funding source to attend (MA Ability, MA Commission for the Blind, Department of Developmental Services, MA Health, etc.)
Our services include Day Habilitation, Adult Foster Care, Community-Based Day Supports, and Employment Services, including School-to-Work Transition Services.
A structured program that helps participants develop and maintain life skills, social connections, and independence, including support for those with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI). Members must be diagnosed with ID/DD prior to age 22 and have MA Health or an eligible insurance coverage. Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Behavioral consultation are provided to all members, as well as full-time nursing oversight.
AFC provides home-based lodging and personal care for adults and elderly individuals who cannot safely live alone, matched with trained, approved caregivers.
CBDS helps individuals gain confidence and independence by spending at least 70% of their day engaged in community activities, skill-building, and job exploration.
PRIDE, Inc. offers employment programs including Comprehensive Career Services, and School-to-Work Transition, to prepare individuals for meaningful careers.
Daily health monitoring by nurses, therapy services (PT, OT, speech, behavioral), and individualized care plans are available to ensure participants’ well-being in Day Hab. CBDS has trained staff who are able to implement medications and are CPR/1st Aid trained.

Yes, we collaborate closely with families and caregivers to create individualized support plans and ensure a safe, supportive, and empowering environment. Effective communication amongst the interdisciplinary team is a priority in providing high quality services.
