PRIDE, Inc.'s School-to-Work Transition program assists high school students aged 18-22 with disabilities to prepare for life after graduation.  In addition to job exploration activities like guest speakers and local business tours, students engage in hands-on, paid training within our workforce development division, PRIDEWRX.  These experiences help to build confidence, increase work tolerance, and practice real-world, transferable skills.

This program is funded by and in collaboration with local school systems with the shared goal of helping to make the transition from school to work smoother and more successful.  Additionally, students participate in job readiness groups, community work training, interest inventories, guest speaker sessions, job shadowing, workplace tours, and informational interviews. This program helps students develop confidence and transferable skills, making the transition from school to employment more successful and sustainable
